Common App can help future students plan, apply, and even find resources to pay for college.  Most students who use it do so because it allows you to apply to multiple instituions at once.  Please note there is a deadline for applicants to submit their information, and though using the Common App is free, individual application fees may apply for each college you apply to. 

The state has a page to help you find applications to all of the colleges and universities in Michigan!  With nearly 100 institutions across the state, there are many location options and great programs to choose from!  All of the institutions listed on this page are accredited and accepts federal and state financial aid.

 Students from Michigan represent a broad range of nontraditional and traditional learners. Many are the first in their family to attend college, thus requiring a variety of services.

The Michigan Transfer Planning website, Michigan Transfer Network, helps you understand how your courses will transfer between Michigan colleges and universities. The site includes a searchable database of transferable courses, information on earning credit for industry credentials, and tools to explore transfer pathway options. It also includes a secure portal used by colleges and universities to manage transfer agreements.

Mcihgian works also has access to Workforce Opportunity funding for qualified youth and adults each year, so set up an appointment with them to see what might work for you!
